Strategic Execution Across Private Markets and Fintech

Pat Adrian is a Principal at Nasdaq Fund Secondaries, where he leads initiatives expanding liquidity across private and registered fund structures. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, he aligns product, legal, commercial, and leadership teams to bring new market structures from concept to launch. He also leads the business’s regulatory and advocacy agenda, engaging directly with the SEC and industry groups on the policy issues shaping liquidity in private markets.

Pat joined Nasdaq in 2018 through its acquisition of RedQuarry, an investment technology firm he co-founded and led as Co-CEO. There, he built institutional research and diligence solutions that bridged investment expertise and software development — a combination that has defined his career since.

Earlier, he was Partner and Trader at Monea Investments and held investment research and portfolio analytics roles at Threshold Group and Russell Investments, where he developed internal research software and advised private client and foundation portfolios.

Pat is a CFA charterholder and holds FINRA Series 24, 7, and 63 licenses. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Puget Sound and lives in Tacoma, Washington. Outside of work, he’s usually in the mountains with his wife and son — hiking, fishing, climbing, and skiing.
